Whitebridge Boarding Kennels offers your dog a relaxing and enjoyable stay whilst you are away. We exercise the dogs in our 3½ acres separated in to 5 paddocks of various sizes. If your dogs enjoys a good run or prefers a relaxing ‘mooch’ we can accommodate their needs. Each dog or family of dogs has lighting and thermostatically controlled heating within their bed room area and a separate day run for rest time.

Our approach

Lots of time, love, and attention is given to all dogs that stay with us to make sure their time is as happy as we can possibly make it. We aim to exercise our guests several times throughout the day. This may mean an off lead walk around the paddocks, ball play or a roll and a tummy tickle or two! We have play equipment to stimulate our guests and provide interest (photos coming soon). If appropriate your dog will have social time in the paddocks. Where dogs are to be exercised alone or in family groups only we ensure we tailor our time with them to suit their needs.

Opening hours

We are open all year MONDAY – SUNDAY. All Bank Holidays, including Christmas and New Year.

Drop-off and collection times

Morning drop off and collection 0800 - 0900

Afternoon drop off and collection 1600 - 1700

Alternative times can be arranged but will incur an additional £20.00.

Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve - between 8am and 9am.
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day - no drop off or collection.

Dog food

Our preference is that dogs maintain their own diet whilst they stay with us. This helps with providing continuity to the dogs and supports their digestive health. We therefore ask owners to consider bringing their own food for their dogs. We can supply dog food if you prefer.

We serve Purina Sensitve Dry Food and a range of Wet Food.

Dog's bedding, toys and blankets

Your dog's favourite toy, bedding or blanket are welcome to help them feel at home.

Vaccinations

In order to stay or spend the day with us your dog must be fully vaccinated, and their full and up to date vaccination record be presented to us upon their arrival. This includes kennel cough vaccination. Dogs are not permitted to stay with us within 3 weeks of vaccination, as the vaccination does not become effective until this time*. All dogs must also have been treated against flea, ticks and worms, evidence of such should be provided too.

*See datasheets on NOAH Compendium.
